VIGOROUS, ETHICAL, & PROFESSIONAL REPRESENTATION

At the Law Offices of John J. Thyne III, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality of legal services. Our specialties include real estate, business formations, wills & trusts, litigation, and entertainment law. Our Santa Barbara attorneys work hard to protect the rights of individual and business clients alike throughout California and Oklahoma in many types of legal matters in both State and Federal courts. Our clients can call on us when they need aggressive and effective legal representation and can expect thorough, vigorous, ethical and professional legal representation at a fair price.

ACCOUNTING FOR OUR CLIENT'S BEST INTERESTS

Although we are a litigation law firm, we realize that a costly and time consuming courtroom battle is not always in the client’s best interest. We work hard to find other, less costly ways to resolve disputes to our client’s satisfaction. We encourage the parties in a dispute to avoid litigation and to consider alternative methods for resolving their disputes. These alternative methods can be simple negotiations or a more structured mediation or arbitration. In many cases, we find that one of these methods will help the parties involved reach an agreement quickly and cost-effectively. If an agreement cannot be reached and litigation is necessary, we will fight aggressively to get our client the best result possible.

I highly recommend John Thyne if you have real estate law issues. We recently purchased a home in Santa Barbara, and a last-minute issue arose where the sellers were jeopardizing the closing date (possibly costing us thousands of dollars in loan lock extensions) by not dealing with things in a timely manner. John was able to meet with us at the last minute. He got to an understanding of the situation quickly, called several critical people to get details, described concisely to us what the options were and what he recommended, and sent a "Demand to Close" to the sellers to make sure the process stayed on track, all in a single hour in his office. We immediately felt far better, understood our options much clearer, and the sellers jumped into line immediately. Everything turned out fine, and John was a big part of that. John is top notch, knows the Santa Barbara real estate market and law very well, and is no-nonsense. Highly recommended.read more

Not only do I use this law firm for real estate transactions, but I also use them for business projects. They are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone! Also on a side note, the owner is a crappy poker player. If you get an opportunity to invite him to a poker game, you should do it!
